the location is outstanding, the hostel cozy
Wonderful, though 8$ for use of hottub for was too much
My complaint was the loud music coming from the check in office all night long. I was staying in room 2 right behind the check in office. I asked Michael to turn it down about 7pm, he did, for about 30 mins, then the volume increased again. It was incessant thumping from the bass and continued through to 1057pm when I got up to verify if "quiet time" was actually beginning at 11pm. He knew since 730pm when I first asked him to turn down the music that the bass was very bothersome, his turning it up again after my initial request showed true disregard for me as a paying guest. Truly dissappointing.

Thank you for your comments. Playing loud music from the office staff is unacceptable. I have talked to Michael and the rest of the front desk office staff about this and I do expect this not to happen again. My sincere apology. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.

We love that this hostel has a hot tub overlooking the ocean, but there was way too much chlorine in it and all of us had our swim wear bleached and skin smelling like chlorine for 24 hours following. Perhaps try using bromine instead. One of the top bunks in the mens dorm is directly under a heater vent which makes it impossible to sleep there. We had a snorer wearing ear plugs in the room. Unfortunately our ear plugs were inadequate to block out the sound. I recommend shaving a co-ed dorm specifically for snorers so the other people can get some sleep.
Excelente y muy bien situado. Romántico.
Super Hostel. Toller Standort für wenig Geld. Ist unbedingt zu empfehlen dort noch im helleln anzureisen.
The hostel's location is exceptional -- it's right next to an old lighthouse, you can sit outside, look at the sun set over the Pacific and dream. The hostel is actually divided into four different buildings with a separate kitchen and common room in each, so it feels more like a family's living room, and you might not get to know as many people as in one of the larger hostels.
In the area are a lot of parks that invite for a visit, but don't expect much going on otherwise. It's a very quiet and relaxing setting, even the next stores take you some minutes by car.
Go there for relaxing and seeing nature and you've hit one of the best hostels I know!
