We stayed for six days and met a lot of people. The hostel offers activities every evenig. The Position of the Hostel is fantastic. Unfortunately the guests make a lot of noise at night. The bathroom was dirty and the ground was covered by hair every day. You have to pay for extra service performance, for example renting towels or leaving the luggage at our leaving day.

Great location for downtown Barcelona!! On my second night I moved out of my first room because it had 8 party girls and they were noisy. My bed was right by the door and they kept slamming it. The second room was quiet until an older couple came in and started having sex. I mean, really?? The woman was loud and drunk. My other complaint was having to buy a new lock to store my stuff in a locker. Showers could be better, larger and more shelving to put your things.

Most excellent location. The roof garden also , offering a great view to tops of other buildings. Dated ,1833, amazing. Somehow two lifts have been installed. For what it was,I think breakfast should have been included, but at two euros was not a lot. The members kitchen looked very small and not well organized, so I could not use it.

Upon arrival with my -10 y.o. daughter we learned that we cannot be admited in the hostel because I made a reservation for a shared/coed room. This info is available on the EPC internet page but not on Hihostels.com booking site!!! We were offered a private for almost a double - about 117 EUR and my booking fee was lost. Cuidado: this is not an International YOUTH Hostel, but a hostel for organised groups/richer families - and adults. Plus: I eventually got some help from staff.

We confirmed two females bunks in a female (Mixed) dorm, for 36E each. Staff couldn't guarantee it would only be females. Why even put the word female on the list, if it is mixed? Being tired, we decided on the two bed private room, ending up having to pay 160E +taxes, per night. I'm sure it was showing 130E ar the time of booking the reservation. The room had a double bed with a bunk over the head of the bed.
