We stayed off peak but I think
at peak time that 1 toilet and shower per floor would be a problem . Nearly all chinese so wasn't such a jovial atmosphere like in other hostels . It was always cold in commonareas due to door always being open and wasn't so was. In room. But this wouldn't matter in warmer weather. But all else great
There are issues they have to improve asap:
1. The pillows are too soft and cannot support the head, I had the neck pain the next morning.
2. The door lock is not smooth to open every time after scanning with the door card.
3. There is water leaking from the shower cubicle along the sliding door.
The cooking facilities are too less to cook! There is only one microwave oven!!!
Very good hostel, highly recommend.
One of the trendiest and coolest locations in town. Unique for Shenzhen. Location alone is worth staying there. The hostel itself is a converted former factory workers dormitory surrounded by former factory building which are now converted into lofts. All packed with lush greenery. Art galleries, trendy restaurants and bars nearby. Nearby supermarket open till 22.00 and nearest metro stations (Qiaocheng East or North) about 10 minutes walk.
